Hi,  I’m Jamie

BACKGROUND

As a digital UX product designer and researcher, I have over 8 years of experience creating best-in-class product experiences for agencies and enterprises — specializing in healthcare, insurance, e-commerce, and education.

Prior to this, I spent eight years as a technical outdoor product researcher, designer, and developer, focused on creating innovative physical product experiences. In total, I bring over 16 years of product design excellence. I take pride in delivering thoughtful, practical, and innovative solutions centered around human needs and behaviors that deliver positive impact.

My passion lies in creating user-friendly, intuitive, and effective design solutions to tackle complex problems. I am a curious listener, clear communicator, fast learner, and goal-oriented deliverer. My approach to user experience design is to understand people's needs, lead by example, and employ data and research to bridge the gap between humans and technology. I enjoy taking ordinary things and turning them into something extraordinary!

I thrive in crafting vibrant, enjoyable, and purposeful interactions professionally and personally. When not designing at my desk, I’m out seeking similar thrills in the great outdoors , 🏔️ rock climbing, 🧗‍♀️ or snowboarding 🏂.

I’m also a UX bootcamp instructor and mentor for a 503c non-profit at QTBIPOC.design providing marginalized designers of color with free accessible education, mentorship, community, and networking opportunities.
